South African photographer Miona Janeke went on a 3 week journey with the sole purpose of photographing Namibia’s wild desert horses. Seven months later she has remained, as the soul and character of the land have kept her bound.
“The country, its people, and Namibia’s phenomenal and unique wild Horses have mesmerized me. I saw the thirst in their eyes and the burning desire to survive. I was looking for the spirit of freedom and found it here, within the wild horses of the Namib Desert”
This is her first venture into nature photography and her second solo exhibition. An exquisite display of a young and talented new photographer.
